Relaxing and surprising.......

This weekendwas Relaxing and.....

This weekend we/I though we're going way for a weekend to the east of Holland (Doetichem) and I/JoAnn thought I'd better don't bring my camera's nor my pc-laptop, because it must be a relaxing weekend... We relaxed anyway very well, we went to the fitness places in the bungalowpark,we stayed in a house/bungalow with an open-wood-fire place.....
(doubleclick to enlarge) one of us got a nice 'neck/schoulder/back-massage ( not me!!) and we went to a bubble-bad relaxing hot-water swimmingpool....The weather was soso 'now and than rian also some sun, mostly cloudy"......So we : Bert, me and Ios-je ,went for some cardrives (doubleclick on photo's to enlarge) in the surrounding of Doetichem: But quess what happened when we visited a couple of towns-village's outside but near the bungalow- park where we stayed?

We were so lucky to run into a reall old Photographical-Museum in Doesburg, and it was only opened the first Sunday afternoon each month: We were there the right day and the right time.... I could not help it but I /JoAnn am soooooo interested in the history of Both: the camera and photography, so I had to look inside of this museum of course and it was not a bad idea!!

There was so much to see:
From the first try-out of photography with the ;
-'Pinhole technic',is made of a regular box with a small hole in it . Inside sensitive photograph paper.... the light s doing the work and ....wala....
-The dark room: developping photo's with chemicals, first sepia later black and white, after that coloured .... but that took already 16 different chemical bath's...
-Some old flashlights and flashers...
-old kind of camera's like the 'Rolleicord',
-How of the man/woman behind the camera was working: like under a black cloth.
-a kind of playing photopgraphs or movie's-camera...
-and much more.......

Today: Home sweet home....
The sun is shining still in our backyard , some leaves felt down but most are still on the trees. I like our surroundings with woods/forest and backyard with trees better, than the flat east of Holland. But the grass seems to be greener somewhere else than home. In Holland it is not difficult to feel home, everywhere it is fantastic.... evrywhere greens like trees and grassy land, with cows, sheeps and since a few years ; even mild around (the lowest) 10 degrees , great weather in the winter haha....
