Above: Manuel Antonio... fantastic bounty beaches, but watch out for the poisoned tree with its(toxin) leaves, on some trees on the beach!! You'll better not tatch them...


Above: Manuel Antonio National Forest Park , where we had to wade trough water to reach the entrance of the Park... but we saw after a long hike ( We found out too late: no water for sale inside the park, I didn't like that...) a beautiful vieuw-panorama was worth the hike/sweat...


Above : walking with rainclothes and mountain boots....in one of the Rain-Forest in Monteverde. We picked a day with heavy rain's...We were hiking some days for 6 hours in a row, walking up and down the rocky or muddy hikepaths in-outside the Parks......packed with water, cookies and fruit. Wearing in 30 degrees temperature our rainclothes and hikingshoes on our feet..hot!!!... We didn't need to go to the gymn- nor sport-school, enough movements ith our bodies. Enjoying the flora and fauna of Costa Rica, you need all your energy and take care of where you walk..... The price is a good vieuw (panorama) or a quick look at a monkey or other rare & beautiful coloured animals and plants/flowers...

We are having a good local dinner, a nice fruitcocktail... Me having a light chicken-vegetable soup, and Bert a fantastic beefrib with veggies and patatoes. Do we look healthy, happy and satisfied, or not? We were feeling great....
Haha I felt basecly good here ( above picture) even unless the cramps in my stomach (nausious too ehh) since the last 1 1/2 weeks , but what the heck! We both love-hot- hot- hot- love-love not-love enjoyed- this journey... but we saw & did a lot!!! Just joking.... we were feel'g okay ,I (JoAnn lost 5 kilo's now weight is 52), but maybe Bert lost at least some kilo's too, he had some terrible headages.. but overall our health -weight will get back as soon as we are back home... after some good meals and after lots of good nights sleep......yeh!!!

Anyway the most important is: we came home this weekend safe!! .... at 7.45 am, Half an hour earlier than expected, also after half an hour delay in San Jose, but we were lucky with the wind in our backs, haha! . Overthere 32 degrees here in Holland 8 degrees.....brrrrr cold, but it could be worse...!!!!! Of course we could ( nobody can!!) not sleep in the plane with its little tiny doll-chairs..., When I am am rich I thought ( I always think too much in a plane....nothing else to do haha!) so when I am rich....I buy my own plane with a good SOFT bed inside. The good thing is that there were some good movies on in the plane, so I enjoyed wathing all night 2 or 3 different movies...onhg, onhhhhgrrrrrr.

But.......You have to see/go to Costa Rica to change your feelings about almost everything luxery, so why complain about a little thing as a plane-chair???Good thing is ... there were no muscitoos in the plane, haha and no bugs, no nothing scary.... haha!! So you must taste-feel -smell the atmosphere in Costa Rica.... the very rasta, relaxing, slow, easy life, "don't worrie be happy" and you completely change in >>>>>PURA VIDA-moods !!!!! Take it easy men!!!!

This weekend we need to get used to the time difference of 7 hours..... and also to change back in 'normal people' like... getting used to the Dutch "hurry-for-everything-otherwise- you- are-too-late-again" busy people.

Ios our sweetest little 'always loving us' friend is also home again with us ... She looks very healthy and happy and soooo sweet & relaxed ...she is sleeping now (like us) too. So thank you sweet, sweet Marianne & Servaas + Maresha & Charelle, our Ios's loving dogsitter family !!!!! No words are enough to express our "thank you" feelings. Thanx!!!!

I NOW go to sleep for 12 hours or more ... grnnnenegeddgsnoreeg....until monday or longer........
