1) IOS My sweet dog (last news)
Today 2 post's in 1 :
"My dog Top", at the "Bottom history of Naarden".
Look!!! She (Ios) is standing straight and looking proud around her as if she wants to say " look at me I am feeling goooooood!" She is looking good on the outside, but stil not fully medically recovered and will not in the future, but as long as she is feeling well its OK by me!!!.
She/IOS loves to eat grass Really :) Like the cows, she's grown up on a farm in between other animals like COWS, ther she learned to eat Grass hahah!
Boven:Ios vindt het heerlijk om gras te eten, waarschijnlijk heeft ze dat geleerd, omdat ze op een boerderij is grootgebracht tussen andere dieren, waaronder KOEIEN hahaha!! :)

Out of the book:"De Vesting Naarden":
('Vesting" means a village surrounded by walls)
The ABOVE Drawing: is about the restoring-plans (the DARKblack lines+ Dates when to restore) The dark lines are also 'The walls' , they are around the village used as 'defense' in the war.The red writing on the drawing left bottom, is where Ios and I were walking yesterday (also photo's were made there. See pic's on top.

Your dog is beautiful and thanks for the history lesson. :)
Interesting fort photos!
Glad IOS is feeling better and hope Joann is also.
It took a time, when I read your history and looked at your photos and writings.
I am thinking now, that a good relationship is one most important thing in our lives.
I think, you are so very much alive
regardless of your sickness because of your good partner.
We have been married over 43 years, I was 21 then :)
I have been in Holland one week with my husband. We were mostly in Harderwijk, were my husband`s symposium was.But after that we were also 2 days in Amsterdam.
So special country you have!
Have a nice Sunday!
Hi JoAnn,
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and yes, Norway is a beautiful country, especially Stavanger :)
My parents are from West Sumatra where I was born but I spent my childhood until I graduated from university in Bandung, West Java. I worked in Jakarta for more than 10 years and now I'm living in Norway following my Norwegian husband. I love travelling too :)
HA! Ios thinks she's a cow? You must save a lot of money on dog food ;-)
I am so glad she feels better - she looks fantastic! By the way - what does the name IOS mean, if anything?
Thanks for that history lesson. We visited Holland a couple of times and have wonderful memories of your country!
JoAnn, I would like to present you with my Animal Lover award - if anyone deserves it, it's you!!!
Thanks for saring the beautiful dog and great history!! Take care of you.
I LOVE the pictures of IOS...what a beautiful dog!! Are you feeling better? I hope so...and IOS as well....nice pictures of the "fort" ....what a history....I will tell Tessie-who is constantly harassed by Clancy - that you give her a hug...all things considered...she is doing pretty well...hope you and IOS are as well!
IOS is lovely, just lovely. And if she can bark and stand her ground, she might serve as a strong defender of Naarden, just as the fort does.
Does Blogger eat comments for breakfast??? I could swear I left a comment on this post earlier today! :(
Anyway.
1. Ios looks fabulous! I'm sending lots and lots of energy vibes to that little champ of yours.
2. Congrats! All of your photos enlarge!!! Atta girl.
3. Loved to read about Naarden!

Nice and interesting post too! I clicked on the link for Naarden and I was really glad to find out that it is written in english too. I like to visit website where i learn about different cultures and I get a bit angry when it is in the native language. Maybe this is a sign for me to learn another lanuage ;) . Good Sunday to you.
Dat heb je haar natuurlijk geleerd tijdens al die wandelingen langs de koeien!!!!!!!!!
