There is a birds forest in VALKENVEEN near my house on walking distance. I walk everywhere with my dog and when I walked there and I just looked up.... I saw this 4 creative birdshouses , all painted in different HAPPY colours... Vlakbij waar ik woon en op loopafstand in VALKENVEEN, is een groot vogelbos, daar loop ik wel eens met mijn hond. Toen ik eens naar boven keek zag ik deze leuke gezellige vogelhuisjes. Allemaal in vrolijke kleueren geverfd..

Awesome Bird houses, so much fun in all those colors
It is slowing the downloading for me, and also takes breaks (gaps) in playing.
I am using ADSL 8MB down so normally no problem seeing videos and listen to music.
Makes my iMac very busy when your site is up

They are lovely bright birdhouses! But do birds like to be as conspicuous as that I wonder.

Hi JoAnn good to see you here and I like the bird-boxes as we call them.
Two things about the music - some people like to surf quietly [they may be in an office or somwehere else that has other people who do not wish to be disturbed]
and as Arne says it makes the site slower to load which is not good for some people.

Those are quite creative birdhouses. Near here there is a town--you might call it a village because it is so small--that maintains a "bluebird trail". Throughout the area there are birdhouses on fence posts and other places. They are carefully spaced to allow for the territorial needs of the bluebirds. Most of thema re painted white with a blue roof (for some reason the bluebirds prefer this.) Residents, church groups, youth groups, go out early in the spring and replace those that have deteriorated. And then the bluebirds come.
We have some birdhouses in our yard, but the birds are skeptical. Perhaps it is our cats!

Welcome to ABC Wednesday. Those are beautiful birdhouses. I'm glad you spotted them during your walk. Any bird would be honored to stay there. Your bird sounds really added to the atmospher.
I love them, why do they only sell dark green and brown bird houses in petshops? I guess to leave the people create their own little shelter. Very cute!

As an artist myself, I am so inspired by your post. The birdhouses are fabulous. I have always wanted to paint birdhouses. My husband says the birds won't use them. But why not just paint them for public art? I am so excited to see your blog. Beautiful work.

-No not my designs I wish I had done it, I saw it and photographed them, (privat terrains...ooops!)
-Nope, the birds are not in my backyard,
- I did NOT paint this B-houses,
- I like to add the music with photography...so blogreaders who does NOT like music,( becuase they surf under worktime) they might shot-off the music? or lower the sound I quess...,
-Soory, but I am very sorry for the people with low adsl-8MB-reach (from providers of internet) I did not think of that, but theycan also shot the window of slideshow and shotof thesound....
