My Monday Odd Shot also has a tree taht fell, but it fell very differently.

Krak, kaboom; a great choice of k words.

A friend of mine had a very large gum tree crash on his roof causing major damage; trees are lovely but not too close to your house.

We have many pine trees here in Atlanta that can fall like this, JoAnn, so we have to make sure they're not too close to the house!

At least it doesn't look like it did any damage -- probably because it was a slim trunk high on the hill. I bet the noise was terrific tho. I am glad I wasn't in that house!

Oh my, I do sometimes wonder for others when they live close by to the tall skinny trees. Thanks for sharing, and I hope no one got hurt also. Anna :)
