Reportage of a SAIL-Boattrip on the Marker-IJsselmeer

JoAnn's PHOTO-REPORTAGE of a Sailtrip....
In the Harbor of MONNICKENDAM, before we entered the boat,
Looking up at the HIGH Mast, all that roops are needed for the sails.....

Looking through a "SHIP-open window" everywhere there are big and smaller boats....

Look at the well organised roops on the deck

Its free to help the staff, with the sails, you won't have to be bored enough work to do, some of the passengers liked to give a hand....

Sails back in, this time done by the staff
Village "VOLENDAM" seen from the boat, it was far away but we could see it clear enough

Here we are entering the harbor of the Village "MARKEN" , seen from the boat.... just before we entered land..

Surprise from the Shipper and his wife, they made a BBQ

The evening is coming...... We're heading back over the water, this time the sails are not used, the shipper used the Motor ...

Looks like a great trip. I would love to take a nice sailing trip like that someday. They do longer sail cruises in the Caribbean on bigger sailboats that sound very nice... alas, pretty expensive!

Help choose a new name for my blog here!
