She is my faithfull friend for almost eleven years now, we went on holiday with our DOG and enjoyed to walk oin the Island VLIELAND, so much!as much as she did, .

On Holiday with your DOG?

Not always its possible to bring your DOG in a hotel, but here in Vlieland it is . In (Dutch "Bad" means in English: "Bath ") BADhotel Bruin they give your DOG a DOGpillow (or: Dog Bed) and DOG-bowls/plates, therefore its really a dogfriendly Hotel for sure. We (and our dog) enjoyed our stay at Vlieland , where the Sea and Dunes are pretty and also you can enjoy the Forest.... "Vlieland" is a Carless (Cars not allowed) island and its situated in the beautifull North of Holland . On the island are plenty "pleasure freetime possibilities"such as , visiting very nice fashion-Shops, but there are also plenty of Bars/Restaurants, but most visiters come to Vlieland for Watersurfing, Sailing, Birdwatching, Biking and of course :Walking!....

Home sweet home including MY DOG ,

To get to the Island "VLIELAND "you need to go by boat, its a totall journey for 3 hours (for a return) , on the boat you can buy all kinds of cold/warm foods and drinks, you can either sit inside or outside -on the sundeck-. Today it was very windy (northwest-wind of 7/8) , so you better watch yourself! I found out that when there is an emergencie, when all passengers have to leave the boat for their safety..... dogs cannot go on the safetyboat! Why not? Because their nails might damage the air-boats , or worse: We might had to leaving our DOG behind on the boat with an emergencie!? I should not leve the boat without our dog,No way! So......You can imagine that we were very glad that we all arrived the land Harlingen safely INCLUDING our DOG! . So we didn't have to worrie about our dogs safety or leaving her behind somewhere....

Better is: Home sweet home, everyone is safely home, thank you :)
