Different style of ....

Houses....I wonder how the houses are inside in Canada/Winnipeg. I saw some pictures already. They are all on their own seperated ground surrounded by gardens. In Holland this kind of houses are called: " Villa's" . Her its very expensive to buy Villa's. In Canada is overall more space, so also for the houses. I like the wooden warm outside of the houses. On our travelling I found out that it is so funny/typical, that all countries have their own kind ( character) of houses.... Like in Europe : France ,Italy ,Greece & Spain , overthere most houses are painted in soft colours like pink, lightgreen or lightblue and the houses are also covered with beautiful flowers. In The States all/most buildings are towerhigh with many windows, the streets are straight and with numbers. In Holland streets are having all kinds of street-names ( for example names from writers ,musicans etc) and roads are endless round ( spontanious) here with 3 or4 kinds of coloured "copple" stones . Sometimes also narrow sandy steets or paths. In the USA they like dark -buildings- colours in the cities and in the living areas the houses are there mostly from wood in mostly one colour, some are from wood others from stone. Finally here in Holland all buildings and houses are build with " baked stones" in the colour dark yellow, lightbrown and brown, the roof are covered with dried long grass (pitriet) and orange or black (dakpannen) roofstones. Typical Dutch are also the boathouses in the canals and Botels ( Houses & Hotels on build for laying on water) Interesting to see all that different house-styles and roads/streets in different countries.
