Life is a CABARET!!!

Yesterday- evening I went with my sister in Law : Anneke to a musical named "Cabaret!" . A great musical wich is playing in a hugh decor of the " Kit- Kat-NightClub" , the whole Theatre inside has been changed into a nightclub, with red lamps on the bar-tables. You could even order a drink! The cabaret is playing at the beginning of the II war against the Germans ( Hitler time) and it telling about the start of the discimination of the Jews ( terrible!) . The escortgirls in the nightcub and some people living in a guesthouse are playing-dancing-singing about the (war) story .
In the United States LIZA MINELLI is singing all the songs in the originally version from ' The Cabaret" like: " Money makes the world go round, the world go round " and : " Life is a cabaret". Overall it is a singing play of 2 1/2 hours, including the break. The Cabaret is playing in a beautiful Theatre in Amsterdam ( at the famous Amstel river) named " Carre",.This Theatre is beautiful too, with all its red soft chairs, our chair was on a balcony on the first row. Beeing in Amsterdam and the Theatre Carre was SO beautiful with all the lights shining on the Amstel river at night....... A great experience.
