Christmas symbols ....

A history of Christmas symbols....
The Christmas Tree The meaning of the Chistmas Tree is going back in its history , more mend for women (haha) that they can get children.... It's said that the Tree first came by The Germans for 'the Chistanity' and Wintersun-circle (Joel ). The had a green (spar, needle Tree) tree always in their home or on their land in front of their houses.
Also in history can be seen as a fact, that the Christians at first did not want the Tree, esspecially by the Catholic church . But Luther (begin of 16 the century) declared this Tree as a symbol for the birth of Jezus Christ. First the Tree was only seen in Churches and later (end of 19th century) the Tree was also seen by Protestant's countries , but also in the livingroom at people's home.
So Luther thought's were that the Tree reminds us of the Paradise, like the Christmas- balls (decoration) reminds us of the apple Eva ate....

The 'pike' on top of the Tree might symbolizes the 4 wise man from the East, who visited the Stall (the birthplace of Jezus) with the child Jezus. So a thought is also , that 'the pike' might be replaced as a symbol (instead of) for the Star... the Star can be symbolised , withChristmas as a plant or a decoration-star.

But the Catholics liked more the Chistmas stall, with lots of green decoration. The stall is seen in homes of people but also since 1982 ther is one at The Vatican in Rome/Italy. While in general, the Protestant's did not want a Stall nor any statues because statues are forbidden in their religion. Therefore the Christmas Tree for Protestant's was more succesfull as a symbol .
Well as this is said..... The above Christmas history might be true or not.......
We/I wish my sweet family and dearest friends: a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
