Celebration day: Queensday!!

Today we DUTCH people celebrate: QUEENSDAY!!!!
And....... of course I have a free day...

With fantastic weather : 22-24 degrees...

Yes we enjoy the summer (ehh spring)


Dutch flag in front of our house...

For the children in Naarden: 'suiker-spin"...
All children have their own 'second hand's' for sale.
(to compare with Canadian 'garage-sales')

For the adults in Naarden: Orange bitter....
Or.... other coloured drinks, will do too..
Everybody is dressed with "orange coloured clothes".

Music on street.
A"draaiorgel":left the front, right thats the back...

I sure miss celebrating "Queensday"....it was always so much fun, with lots of laughter and being out on the streets with everyone else....

Just imagine that only Amsterdam was having a 5.000.000 (miljon) visiters! And with this weather it was great....do you remeber also the free (sales) market?
