Vacation-news...

We : Bert, me and our dog, went for a long week to Vlieland by car-boat, to a very pretty small island in the north of Holland. There are no cars aloud on this island, therefore everybody is walking/hiking or biking. We were lucky to have some sunny days and NO rain at all. And that for this time of the year!

What we saw....

Sometimes cool,windy
The (above are a small selection of pictures we took, of our long week at Vlieland. Our family-guest'st ( bert's mm and youngest brother) stayed for the easterweekend, once we made together a beachwalk (see above), but that wasn't without danger.... Because Bert's mom falled with her face on the rocks (stones on the beach). A doctor was looking at her and told us that she had a serious brainshuffeling. She had all over BIG blue-red places in/on her face and knees, filled with blood. After the weekend she left , once back at her home (tueasday) she felt again, and she's still now save hospitallised in her hometown, she might stay until the coming weekend . We wish her all the best.

Overall we all are glad that nothing else worse happened with Bert's mom. For the rest of our holiday we 'took it easy' as we were supposed to do when we are at this island. Of course under the above circumstances we enjoyed the rest of our stay in Vlieland. The weather stayed great, a little sun now and than , not to hot not to cold...... .

Back home the weatherwas also great, for example yesterday it was 32 degrees again so I better enjoyed the sun, instaed of upgrading my blogger..... As you all can understand ... All the flowers: Tulips, and others (what colour?) in the backyard came out, soon the 'blue rain flower tree' is coming out too... I 'll show you in another bloggerpost soon.....It looks so beautiful and the flowers are smelling great!
