Holland TheHague,

KIJKDUIN
I promise to show You more photo's of our TRIPS we made in Holland by car ........We visited in January 2008 this festivity (under) at 1 of the several BEACHES of The-HAGUE, untill the end of January there is this lighballs-show on top of the DUNES of KIJKDUIN. Thanks to my French blogfriend LEZARD who lives in The Hague, she named this lightball-show.

This show is organised by "Right to Play" an international organization that helps children to
practice sport and promote peace: 24 light balls have been painted mainly by ex-top skaters and soccer players from The Hague and will be auctioned early next year. Last year, they managed to give 15.000 euro to Unicef.

We enjoyed our day at the beach even when it was a windy day and returned home safe by CAR! Blogreaders who read my blog regularly know why I love The Hague, its my Birthtown... I hope you like the photo's of the ART on the beach! We hebben een fijne dag per auto gehad, er was wel wat wind maar we zijn veilig thuisgekomen!

JoAnn, a nice tour of Kijkduin. We live so close to other beaches that we never make it over there for a visit.

I'm sure that it was a nice drive in your mooie auto!

Happy New Year!!! I'm back as you may have seen after more than 3,000kms around France, which I always enjoy in the Christmas period (food of course)!! I ended up spending a week on the Arcachon bay, a heaven for an oyster eater like me!! Unfortunately as I limit my blog to the Hague, I will not be posting any of my holiday pictures.....Would need to start another blog!

Nice to start to read your blog again with this post, familiar to me. I will definitely go back to see the light balls before the end of January, and will try to follow up on the amount of money they will deliver this year. I'll have some time tonight to go through your last posts as I missed 2 weeks of your nice pictures!.

Hallo JoAnn.
Leuke serie foto's over je tripje naar Kijkduin. Branden al die lichtbollen 's avonds?
Lijkt me erg leuk.
Groetjes, Gerard
