I promised to give here the LAST health-updates about IOS's "recovery"(?).
Ios is still feeling sick since Friday, we don't know what it is..... We think that she is having no pain. We still are waiting 'for a miracle' , but untill now ....she is not reacting a lot on anything, she is slow, not eating( thats so strange , she always wanted to eat!) , but she's sleeping a lot. When she is still this bad on Monday, we will go see a VET. Thanks everyone for all your sweet and supportive words. Of course you can post a COMMENT , but its also possible to send me an email :

Oh JoAnn ...I hope IOS gets better....when our Mason got sick, we took canned dog food and pureed it and mixed it with water and he "drank" that.....it helped for a while. I will be thinking of you.
Ik hoop dat het niet ernstig is. Ik heb poezen en als er eentje niet wil eten ben ik altijd meteen ongerust want je weet nooit wat er fout is.

She is very new, I have a dog aged 16 who it has no problem with heart still goes on because the longer life expectancy increased.
My previous she dog had some similar symptoms as your at the age of 10 and walked very sad, it was an infection in the womb and had to be removed, she recovered completely.
I'm sorry to hear that. I wish I could help but I'm not that familiar with dogs.

I hope los starts to feed soon.. have you tried sitting with her and feeding her soft food mixture from your fingers... try a food that is easy to digest.. start by letting her lick milk from your finger then move on to something a better or maybe a favourite treat. I had a dog that was very ill and for to days the only thing he would eat was a Food Suppliment called "Complan", I'm sure they do one for dogs..

Really think of you in this bad time, and hope for the best for Ios. I feel very sad for you not knowing what is going wrong. Hopefully she'll get much better very very soon. Cheers.
I will say a prayer for beautiful IOS, she has such soulful eyes.
I think trying to feed her liquified food is a great idea. When one of my cats was sick puree helped a lot. Also drinking broth gave her much comfort.
Definitely check with a vet, these things are best caught early. It may be something so simple.

JoAnn, I'm so sorry to hear about IOS having health problems again.
I guess that if IOS just wants to drink then maybe a good idea, since it refuses to eat, would be trying to blend some food and mix it with water. Something light.
I hope IOS gets pretty well soon.
And please do remember IOS needs you so you most try to be strong and show that you are there.
I know you have tried so many things. I don't know what to do!! I keep thinking of you and Iso, happy thoughts and positive wishes. I will keep checking on you through the night and day. Love and hugs to you both.
