IOS is my sweet SWISS BERNESE MOUNTAIN dog since 1999
She is in HUMAN age almost 60 years, but for this dog THATS OLD! I always have known, that dog-life's are ending sooner than humans, Though I never could have ever thought... that I could love a dog SO much, stupid right? Of course ! Thats stupid, but now.... My dog is sick since 2 days , she is not eating anything, she's refusing to eat. I am feeling sick of this , feeling miserable about the fact that I cannot help her, but Loving this dog so much is my wekaness. Its my daily little friend , always around me, always faithfull to me. You don't have to understand me in this, if so "just enjoy watching the photo" thats FINE with me, I'll understand that. But I am so scared , scared of loosing my little friend. Its an animal I know that, but she's my mate for always. Please recover my little friend!

Not to be concerned with blogging. Kiss her ears for me. Joann, is she hurts to much ... maybe it would be kinder to her to help her go? I would want that from my partner if I hurt to much. I cry for you, my heart aches for you and IOS.

Its after midnight and I am not going to bed, (stay up) I still don't know whats going on with my dog, she's smelling, I don't know why, is she sick from eating something bad? Neh !It cannot be that bad ,not for 2 days? Or is she just too old? she's now 8 1/2 , if she is suffering... Yes I would let her go, even when it hurts me, don't worrie about that.

Just love her - I know you do, as she loves you. It's so difficult to know what's going on with our best friends when they can't tell us in words. I would suggest bringing her to the vet as soon as possible on Monday morning. When they don't eat, it's for a reason. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you. Try to stay calm and tell her that you love her and bring her to the doctor to see if they can determine what the problem is. Lots of love and good wishes....

Any person who ever loved his pet understands what you are going through...Please be kind to Ios and don't let her suffer. Don't you have emergency vet clinics nearby?
My heart goes out to you (I've been in this situation twice) and I feel helpless. All I can do is send you both hugs and kisses and good thoughts.
And remember JoAnn - you are not alone, we are all here for you.

Hope Ios get well. She is not too old. My dogs have lived for 13 years.Sheeba is 7.
Your vet should understand her problem and give her the right care.

Oh, wat zal dit moeilijk voor je zijn. Ja, ik weet hoeveel je van Ios houdt, hoeveel je voor haar over hebt. Het doet dan zo'n pijn en geeft verdriet en spanning, omdat je bang bent dat je haar gaat verliezen.
Ik wens je onnoemlijk veel sterkte de komende tijd en hoop dat Ios toch weer opkrabbelt, maar soms is het de tijd om te gaan.
Meisje toch, ik zou je willen steunen en een arm om je heen slaan. Gewoon om het verdriet en de spanning samen te delen.
Dikke knuf en heel veel sterkte.

Oh Joann, I am sorry that IOS is sick! I can completley relate with how much our pets mean to us! They give us such unconditional love. You and IOS are in my thoughts!

Ios is still not doing well, but she moved more than last 2 days. Ate 1 piece of food and drun a lot... she did not want to play, with anything, she 's sleeping 'a hole in the day/night'
I am still wondering whats going on with my dog, Yes (Suzanne) I will do a check-up on MONDAY as soon as possible, I stayed up all night but felt asleep beside her in the livingroom, went upstairs to my own bed, with all doors wide open in the house. I could hear every movement.
In the morning she was looking at me, with eyes wide open, but I think she is feeling (maybe?) a bit better. Lets hope for the best!

I know exactly how you feel and hurt for you too. Our pets become part of our family and we love them and it hurts to see them in pain.
Don't worry about blogging, just stay near to IOS.
Dogs become a part of our lives and we suffer when they can't tell us what is wrong. I hope she feels better soon.
