Foundation is one of our favourite museums in Barcelona. Be there once is an obligation. The building designed by Josep Lluís Sert offers you a moment of calm and beatitude: experience of light and beautiful spaces. Among the trees, you will have a stunning sightseeing of the city and a particular moment to see again or discover the work of Miró who throughout his life took a particular interest in the diversity of materials, forms and colours. It led him to explore and experiment with different art forms such as painting, sculpture, printing techniques, ceramics, theatre and tapestry. A central work exposed in this permanent collection , look at this wonderfull art and enjoy...


1893-1907 .... In short : The Biography of Joan de Miro
1893: 20 April: Birth of Joan Miró i Ferrà at 9.00 p.m. at Passatge del Crèdit 4, Barcelona. His father, Miquel Miró i Adzerias, son of a blacksmith in Cornudella, was a watchmaker and silversmith. His mother, Dolors Ferrà i Oromí, was the daughter of a cabinet-maker in Palma, Majorca.
1900:Begins primary school at Carrer del Regomir 13, Barcelona, where he attends drawing classes given by Sr. Civil. 1901 .The earliest preserved drawings, now at the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, date from this year. 1907:Enrols at the School of Commerce in Barcelona. At the same time he attends classes at the School of Industrial and Fine Arts (the Llotja) until 1910, where his teachers are Modest Urgell and Josep Pascó.

My Opinion : When visiting Barcelona its a MUST to visit The museum of Joan de MIRO ,

is absolutelely worth to visit , that I can garantee anyone:)

Melting...&..Watery ,

In Holland we are getting used to the wet, watered, a bit cold, also warm winter. My bed is the best & warmest place to stay, When tired of skating, a hot chocolat, tea or coffee is warming . The Positive thing is that this Winter makes creative ...My camera is note-icing it all, all for you ..enjoy watching....

The Sun, shining on the melting snow,

Strange.... this path from white, is it light?

In the back, a Tree=reflecting the sky ,

Inside the almost melted ice.....

Now watery...

Waiting...

A golden screw, like the SUN ,

...raindrops almost frozen but not anymore ,

What will it be?

Ice? water?

Waiting for...

Snow mixed with rain, A human being walking,

Slippery, Almost home, still dry why?

Because the embrella is protecting against wet....

Watch out scooter, the rain-water is splattering UP..

My 501 & Look at Sky & M&M _Rings

Sitting on my "back"in my (jeans) 501

resting 0) from a marvellous Birthday weekend.

This is what I see, when I'm "lazy"half hanging on the chair , looking at a half sunny/rainy sky , Trees half filled with brown leaves.... still enjoying the thoughts of a wonderfull weekend , but also "taking it easy", getting back to my energy & regular life style soon....

M&M : The same Rings:

Stands for My Mom and Me, wearing (the same(present) -given to each other...Silver rings and Pandora/ Trollbeads bracelets from silver and black leather ...,on both -bracelet and leather- possibilities we can wear our glass Murano and silver"bedels" . We both Enjoying the jewelry , we gave to each other, we both are having the same.

Rings...., Red hair, whatever is what is connecting us , I'm Ready for a new year in my life, Respect for each other, R.. belongs with my reputation, I hope that we have it all . Together we have more.
