() FRANCE: Chateau de Salles & Dinner de luxe

We Arrived in "CHATEAU De Salles"
Above/Under: The beautiful "Chateau De Salles"
Elegantly perched on a hill in Vézac, close to Aurillac, this former 15th century château provides a sumptuous view of the Monts du Cantal. Located in the heart of an 8 hectare park with a golf course stretching out at its feet. A noble residence with its well-preserved beams and panelling, lounges, reading room and billiards room. The restaurant veranda and the large terrace open up onto the garden. Traditional rooms in the château or in the apartments. Swimming pool at the foot of the ochre walls, fitness room, steam room, whirlpool bath. Trampoline and football pitch: children are more than welcome in this haven of tranquillity.
Under: Our first "Dinner de luxe" In the Chateau is served on plates with a brand/sign of the Charming Chateau , also the cups /glasses have the same brand/sign, can you imagine?
Above: Jo's salade: A Tomato-salade with gorgonzola cheese,
( You noticed maybe that we are very small eaters...)
Under: He/BJO ate, A tuna plate with rice and veggies, very nice plate, and afterwards , a plate with cheese, a sorbet ice, and a fine small espresso to finish the meal....
On the side a bottle of natural water and ' covered in a ice-bucket',
a bottle of fine taste white MERLOT wine....
And not to mention: The GREAT VIEW!!!!
We are looking ove om great little villages and a golf field soooo big!
Now we know why the surrounding of the Castel, is a good 8 hectare big
* **
Bon apetite!

Great story and photos. I am so jealous. Beautiful food and a great view. Those two beautiful meals are what Martha and I would have ordered if we were there. Great choice.

Have a good time and keep us updated.

Troy

PS: Martha drinks tea, but I would like the Merlot.
