Hi Joann! I'm adding you to my bloglines so I can remember to visit you. That's a strange looking cow!!
About my photos..they are appearing on my screen the same size as Dick's so I'm wondering what they look like to you.
The train looks to be an old Southern Railway train. I think I can see the faded letters. It's the caboose or the car that goes on the end of the train. I don't think this translation comes through at times. Thanks for your visit!

I hold you entirely responsible for my not getting done this afternoon what I intended to get done! [I'm only joking Fenix!]

What could I do after you had directed me here to this cow? I went searching for more and found over a couple of dozen -- take a look at http://ackworthborn.blogspot.com/2007/08/cows.html

Now I'm off to make beef sandwiches for tea!

Yeah, me, too. I think black ones and black and white ones are my favorite.

Hi JoAnn - I 'found' you on Kerri's comments, and I just had to come and see your photo of the Highland cow. Like those scruffy little dogs with hair all over their faces, you wonder how they can see.

I've recently posted cow photos on my blog, but none of them are as hairy as that.

Cheers -

I just heard on Tv(which of course is so very accurate!lol) that natural redheads are on their way to extinction due to intermarriages with people of black hair gene pools. They suggested that natural redheads need to marry natural redheads but that doesn't seem to be happening. So maybe the cows will only be red! I posted a special picture just for you at http://letmebeblunt.blogspot.com Hope you enjoy it!

Neva said...

and BTW(by the way) I have seen ROTFLMBO (rolling on the floor laughing my butt off)as well!

Catherine said...

I have to say that is a pretty cow..and all that hair, I had no idea cow's had so much hair, and such a beautiful red color!! I'm not so sure he/she liked having his picture taken! :) I just found your site, and have enjoyed looking at things through your digital eyes!!

Alice Hi ,

Neva OK, Now you made me SO CURIOUS tell me some more, by your blog or another way, why should redheads marry blackhaired, because of the genes? And than what happened? If I don't? My hus is white haired... :)Other genes.... I wrote you this (above) on your blog....

Beauty is so easy to find,if you have it in your heart.

Jo's-D-Eyes said...

Hi Carl,
Being a 'Beauty' is mostly fast and boring. I agree that being NOT pretty is more difficult but also more interesting.

You said that so good! :
"Beauty is so easy to find,if you have it in your heart."

:) JoAnn Thanks for your comment

Impressive photo. The cow reminds me of the "native" ones that followed the first humans in Scandinavia after the last ice-age.
They still exists, and they even said the meat is much better than of todays "modern" species.

Jo's-D-Eyes said...

Hi Toraa,
Yes these cos still exsist's, I am not sure if this cow is raised for the meat, but I am not eating meat at all so I could not say how the taste would be...

Thanks for stopping by, :) JoAnn
