Seen out of my window while laying in bed,

Maybe the last HOT summerday,....

Above: The cows in front of my door are enjoying the last HOT summerday from this summer its today up to 27-30 degrees, I wish I could enjoy the sun... H_A_T_S_J_E_E_!

Above: But the cows my favorite animals (!) are enjoying just being outside... not a creditcrisis, not bothereing about a flu, they are always happy it seems...

Above: The same cows.....Not so long ago , just before the summervacation (may 2009) it was like this: foggy and wet , rainy, weather, soon it will be like this again, but in all seasons the field with my dear cows are looking só pretty to me...

I am Back from a small creative blogbreak,

I cannot help it but "I always carry my camera's with me",

Therefore I wanted to share this great view with you: Dear Blogreaders.

How are you doing?

We are enjoying the fog and , but we like the sun too,

Above: Hallo! My favorite friendly Nextdoor :) neighbours are back again!

"Hello! how are you doing? Long time not seeing you", is what they seemed to think...

Above: Look how sweet: Mommy-cow with her child, still on a foggy day, the colours are the same as the weather: dark a bit boring and exiting all together . We have 24 cows : mommy's and daddy-cows and their calfs , all living in the field in front of our house...The baby cows (calfs) still have to get used to all kinds of weather, and in Hollnd its always changing from wet to dry weather, you never can tell before how the weather will be the next day or hour.

Its a foggy morning in the early summer....

Imagine how that is, a view on the field

while its almost evening,

the heavy rains from last week are trying to drying,

Its still too wet,

where could the water go?

Right! Back up to the sky,

The foggy air is flying away

back into the sky...

Next Day weekend :

The weather is changed in a SUNNY weather in Holland

all colours are changing in bright and shiny happy (green) colours,

the cows are going for a fun-walk, enjoying the sun....

For faithfull blogreaders of this blog:

The Festival of Photography -OFF , is still going-on and will ending soon (June 14th) , soon.... after this weekend , I will start on Monday with packing-up all my photo's , it will be a few days work to get them from all (6) locations. I am curious, because I will see what visiters wrote in my guestbook, I am wondering what they think of my "Reflections"exhibition. Anyhow it was a great exhibition, and I am proud to be an exhibitor.

NAARDEN: Our neighbour-COWS with my DOG

Above and Under: My Swiss Dog 'IOS', ( Ios is named after a Greek island) loves this Dutch cows in front of our house in Holland, we see the cows daily on our walks. So they are greeting each other by saying : MOOW! and WOOF! Or eating both/together from the same grass, thats a friendly behavior....

Naarden :wild COWS AND GOATS on a field

Above and under: Also near our house ( 5 minutes away by car) are this wild cows and goats, you better come not too close to them , They are not used to (people) human beings... so better respect the wild animals and leave them alone, they like the roomy space from the fields...

Yesterday's SUNDAY the weather looked like this GREAT and sunny in Holland! Come and travel with me through the town NAARDEN where I live, and I'll show you my Sunday walk....Gisteren/Zondag was het weer zo schitterend mooi, kom.... ga met mij mee in waar ik woon in NAARDEN, dan laat ik mijn ZONDAG wandeling zien...

Above-Under: the sky looked crispy-blue, even the 'smoke form planes you could see very clear...De lucht zag er zo helderblauw uit... zelfs de rook van een vliegtuigje was goed te zien....

Under and above: We, The dog and me went for a SUNNY walk to the nearest "Hei-forest" , there was a horse 'flying' away.... running with joy...Wij: de hond en ik gingen voor een zonnige wandeling naar de Hei, een paard rende met veel plezier, vliegend voorbij...

Above: A flying horse enjoyed his running, Dit rennende vliegende paard had plezier.

Above: Afterwards we saw only the horse-steps in the sand, that proofed us that he was really there, Het paard liet zijn voetsporen achter in het zand, als bewijs dat hij daar echt was geweest...

Above: My schadow ( selfportrait) is showing, that I was there also. Mijn schaduw (zelfportret) laat zien dat ik er ook echt aanwezig was.. Under; And Ios was there too and kept me company, en Ios was mijn gezelschap...

Under: A sign : "are there cows here?", Een bord dat aangeeft "dat er koeien zijn" zijn die er?..

On the road: Watch out for Cows!, Kijk uit voor de koeien!

Above and Under: Yes the cows were there! En Ja hoor de koeien waren er..

Above: Finally Home, (the roof of my house)the sun was still shining bright and we saw that the Magnolia trees - in front of our house- blossomming also, so soon the pink flowers are out, I enjoyed this SUNDAY. Toen we thuis kwamen - dak van ons huis-zagen we dat de Magnoliaboom - voor ons huis- ook in bloei staat, de bloemen zullen wel snel uitkomen....

Bye Summer & why 'Bye Cows'?

TODAY the summer is officially ended.

The farmer decided to bring the Cows inside -on his farm- for the Autumn, and the colder days of weather I quess.....YES! Summer ended today and now I have no cows in front of my door grazing anymore....(poor me!)

The cow below is a Black&White coloured cow, I don't know the type.

And yeh you see that right , I captured this photo(PH7). This photo ( and some other cows) I am going to show on an exibition in September/Oktober in Holland this year ( and ehhh without the 'blogspot' sentence of course!) . I saw this 'beauty' Cow last week, on my way to Utrecht on the side of the highway A27.

Dag Zomer , waarom 'Dag koeien' ?

Waarom de koeien weggaan , heeft te maken met het einde van de zomer vandaag, en het intreden van de Herfst. De boer zet de koeien dan altijd op stal voor 'de koudere dagen', helaas voor mij, want nu heb ik geen koeien meer voor de deur staan. Deze koe(en) zag ik aan de kant van de A27 staan grazen. De foto is weer bewerkt (ph7) om gebruikt te gaan worden voor een tentoonstelling, binnenkort in September/Oktober.

Een prettig weekend gewenst!

The/De Bussummer heide.

To enter the "HEIDE" (above) you should know that 'here are cows', as if we would not notice that! But you better keep distance, YES YES! Therefore again a double warning, its that you know it! Picture under: And if you still haven't seen the COWS, please keep your dogs on the leach...Above second pic: The "Purple heide-flower" Don't know the name in English, does some-one (blogreader) knows the name?

Dutch: Boven, Als men de Heide opgaat staat er dit waarschuwingsbordje, alsof we de koeien niet gezien hebben... "houd afstand" jaja. Maar het is maar dat je het weet, toch?
Onder : de koeien zijn er deze maand dus svp de honden aanlijnen....










De /The BUSSUMMER HEIDE,



This 'area' is where I walk with my dog daily, on the Bussummer Heide, "Heide" is also the name of the purple little flower. Because the COWS are grazing there its not aloud to come closer than 25 meters, They are calm but it for everyone's safety. I don't know the type (name ) of this cows, they are grazing here half a year, one monthe on the left side of the road wich is called the Bussummer Heide, another month on the right side of the road , called the Limitiche heide, Next post I will post the history of the Limitische heide.



Dutch: Grazende koeien op de Bussummer Heide, 'deze heide' is vernoemd deels naar de heide-bloemen en de dichtbij gelegen stad Bussum. Koeien grazen hier ( het soort/type/naam koe, weet ik niet) De ene maand grazen ze op de linker heide genaamd Bussummer Heide, de andere maand op de Limitische Heide. Een volgende Post zal ik meer vertellen over de history van de Limitische Heide.






The above House is again a SMALL TOLL-HOUSE with again 'a passed function', this house is used in an earlier century as a so named "TOLLHOUSE" , the meaning of this house ( I am not sure) is probably to 'border' the road in between the three villages NAARDEN , BUSSUM and HUIZEN. Two nearby villages which are seperaded by a road, on this road (Village is called NAARDEN) The Naarder-side the road is called "HUIZERSTRAATWEG' and on the other half-(village is called HUIZEN) the road is named NAARDERstraat. Behind the Heide-fields this street is called: 'BUSSUMMERSTRAAT', named to the thirth little village Bussum. This is mend for you when you are driving on the road ( without a MAP :) haha) to Huizen you just follow the road "Huizerstraatweg" wich is leading you from NAARDEN , through the NAARDERstraat to Huizen. Simple right, Got it?

Dutch: Het bovenstaand huisje is een TOLHUISJE. De funktie ervan weet ik niet helemaal zeker maar waarschijnlijk diende het in vroegere tijden als Grenshuisje tussen Naarden , Bussum en Huizen. Of er ook TOL geheven werd weet ik niet zeker, de naam doet vermoeden van wel. Maar het is leuk te weten dat de straat van Naarden naar huizen, 'Huizerstraatweg' heet en je rijdt dan tevens door de Naarderstraat(want je komt van Naarden), achter deze 'Bussummer-Heide' heet de derde straat weer De 'Bussummerstraat' etc. Simpel toch? Snap je het nog?

Rebel-Cow

Read the 2 post before this one: A lot of blog readers asked me which cow walked away ( over the road haha!) from the one field to another field just two bocks away... well here she is "the rebel". Many people were asking me "And why?" Answer: The reason is that she is born on the other field....She felt probably homesick? Hmmmmm .

die van het ene grasveld naar een andere (over de weg :) terugliep naar het andere veldje, 2 huizen ( +over een weg) verderop. Veel mensen vroegen mij : "waarom de koe was weg/teruggelopen?" Antwoord: Omdat ze op het andere veldje was geboren, ze had heimwee...

How many cows?

In front of my house there is a field ,

all summer 6 COWS are grazing there....

But yesterday I counted only 5 cows,

ehhh? Am I right ? I counted again... Yes ...I am right! 5 cows, eeehhh? The farmer is coming every day to feed the cows some (old) bread,so yesterday I took my changes and I asked him this question about the cows Me: "Yesterday there were 6 cows I though, and today I count 5 cows or am I mis-counting here?"He: "Ohhh NO" he said you're absolutely right cause 1 cows walked (over the road!!!) back home to the other field, I quess he might like it there better....." (?????)

Ik telde er ineens nog maar 5 ,

en vroeg de boer ernaar. Dus gisteren toen de boer de nog resterende 5 koeien (oud ) brood kwam voeren, vertelde hij mij dat er inderdaad 1 koe naar zijn boerderij was terug gelopen... Het is slechts 1 huizen-rij verder, de koe moet wel over de weg lopen....., een raar gezicht, stel je eens voor dat je ineens een koe voor je auto op de weg ziet lopen?

Hmmmm,I still like it here, but for how long ...

This cow stayed "where he supposed to stay" on the field in front of my house, and he might like it there very much, another cow did not and walked his way " back home"to the farmers house, which is only a block and 1 road away, but still..... Quess what happens when you suddenly see a cow walking on the road??

Bye Rain&Fog, Hello :) SUN!

We could hardly imagine good weather anymore, "is this our summer?" For weeks our weather was like this: Fog in the morning, on the day Storm and Rain. but today.....: Hey! Who's there? The SUN! :) Na weken Regen,Storm en mist, was daar vandaag eindelijk DE ZON :)" Oops!" Said this cow: "There went something down my legs, where are the dipers, is there a toillet somewhere here? "Oow Deze koe zegt: "Er ging iets langs mijn poten naar beneden.. waar zijn de luiers, is er ergens een toillet hier? "
Ehhh !! The Fog is gone , the sky is cristal-clear. MooMoo !I see something down here... and ehh "YAK" I don't like the smell :)Ehhh De mist is weg de lucht is helder. BoeBoe! Ik zie hier iets maar het ''BAH"ruikt niet zo lekker:)

Naarden: view this morning...

My view this morning when I looked out of my window, the field in front of our house was nearly hidden . The cows wer still resting or not awake yet.... When I make my morningwalk with my dog over the bridge,it was also 'hidden'. I don't really like this kind of weather but it give's great shots ....I hope so.Dutch:Dit was vanmorgen het uitzicht als ik door het raam naar buiten keek, als ik met mijn hond de ochtendwandeling maak, ga ik over de brug. Ik vind dit weer niet fijn maar het geeft wel mooie plaatjes.... althans dat hoop ik.Above and under: NAARDEN trees and under the old bridge .
