Hi JoAnn! The second photo with the glass ornaments reminds me of cherries. Why do I think of food when I visit your blog?!
You asked about the Christmas lights in the form of an Edelweiss bloom on my blog post, it's an alpine flower:

The decorations are very nice. Patty always puts out decorations for the holidays but this year she decided not to get everything out. It is way too much after being married for over 52 years. So she only has a few things out.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
We have been busy decorating the house today so i enjoyed seeing yours on your blog. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
Your home must look very festive for the holidays. Are there smells of spices and good things cooking?
Hi JoAnn... nice decorations. The second photo is real nice. Well done.
Everything looks so festive and pretty. Very creative ideas!!
I love to see how people decorate their homes for Christmas so thank you so much for dropping by my blog and inviting me over to yours:-) What a brilliant idea to hang red Christmas balls on the poinsettia plant, love it!! xo
What a beautiful piece. I was searching for something for my kitchen table and I can not find something as nice as this......
These two items are very colorful and pretty, especially the second photo. Like Abe said, I have not put many things out this year, don't have the energy. Have a nice evening.
I like the second photo, those little ornaments are very pretty!
Hi JoAnn, I actually like this decoration even better than a big tree inside the house.
I like your 2nd photo over the 1st photo. Maybe it's due to the colour combination.
Thanks for visiting my blog! I think I'll blogroll you into my favourite links.

Nice little decorations! Better than a tree in my opinion ;)
I liked your pine cone pictures, here in Canada we have lots of pine trees, I should try some pine cone pics.
Did you know, Most Canadian cities are further south than Amsterdam. and the most southerly part of Canada is the same latitude as Rome.
Lovely ornaments. I like the music too
Hi JoAnn, I created a slide.com account but how do I copy the slides on to my blog?
Do your slides also take very long to upload?
Beautiful colors, thats Christmas spirit.
it's great being creative the 2 BoYz love making things with stuff thats in they play cupboard :]
Your decorations are beautiful JoAnn, I love them all. :)
Beautiful decorations, JoAnn...
I hate to be such a Scrooge, but I'm not doing any decorating this year -- or sadly, anytime in the near future -- until we somehow end the insane and illegal wars of the United States. Perhaps we could then turn our efforts towards eliminating human suffering... --Now, wouldn't that be a great Christmas present?
Thanks for your reactions on my X mas decorations...
I will (and already have) visit all your blogs in return!
How wonderfull are all your different indoors decorations...
*I answered your individual questions on YOUR individual blogs, you will find them in your own comment box.:)

Thank you!!
For your great interest and suggestions and I liked to read also what you like the most. I visited all of your individual blogs in return, and I saw/red your way of 'How you decorate your house' (or some did NOT) on the in-and outside...Thanks for that.
-Some people (canada and USA) use stockings under the X-mas tree with presents inside,
-The Plant named Xmas star in Holland,( with the red leaves) is also called in Norway:" Julestjerner" Yes! really!
We all can learn from one another's habits , I hope most of all that everyone respects each others cultural differences, I love to see and read how YOU celebrate your X-mas at YOUR WAY.
Thanks for sharing this with me:)
Tomorrow I'll post some more of my series of 10 types of decoration.
Greetings from JoAnn
Oh splendid ! very unique and creative ideas JoAnn. So pretty and delightful.
The road to Christmas is often more enjoyable than Christmas itself. There is joy in waiting.
Enjoy the road JoAnn
lots of love

Thanks for showing your nice decorations. I haven't yet decorated. Had some "rule" from home and childhood that Xmas decorations, incl. Xmas tree, should be made only at Xmas or the day before. Too old to change habits, I guess!
wonderful captures, great ideas
Thanks I enjoy your comments vey much, I learn from your habits and every countrie, person or family an even religions have their own rules,
Here right after 'Sinterklaas' , on the 6th of december the shopwindows and all the styeets in the cities, are filled with X-mas decorations and many many lights! This will stay there until January 6th. So it worth it to decorate your house inside er even on the outside... Here I show some of mine....
VERY pretty, nice photos, nice colors!
