SKY in NAARDEN on Friday...

....Welcome at JoAnn's Skywatch On Friday ....
Above: A birdsnest (house) in a tree, High up in the BLUE sky..
Above: The CHURCH-TOWER of NAARDEN , when the sky is blue the churchtower is looking even more beautiful. We can see this tower through the window of our livingroom. Its such a wonderfull wonderfull view, at night the clock of the tower is lightning up.
***
I love the view of this great Church-tower. The Church is used with easter for the famous Mattheus passion, and in August my Artgroup and I, will have an Art/ Photo-exibition showing in this church,
****
Right now the windows of the Church are in covered with wood, for a big renovation, the totall cost will be Euro 600.000, thats a lot of money I agree, but this Beautifull church is really worth the cost!!!. Click on this link to read (In english) more about the history of this church.

to watch more beautiful skies from other bloggers, ENJOY !
HAVE a wonderfull weekend!
Enjoy every day...

It's a big bird nest, may be a crow. They are working hard to buil new nests in this period, bringing sticks in their bills.
Nice pic !

That view really is marvelous. I love the way the church catches the light. The first shot is beautiful, too.

Hee JoAnn.

These are both wonderful. The bird's nest is interesting, strung out like that. My favorite is the second withe electric blue sky at the top and the beautiful church at the bottom. Great post!

Soms answers on Questions; hmmm Iam not really sure (Dick) that the above photo is a NEST from birds, does anyone have a suggestion what it is???

So beautiful..you once again conjur up good memories for me, also of experiencing the Passion in the Netherlands (I heard it though in Den Haag). As far as I know it is not sung here very often, but if it is, I will be there!

Thanks for sharing these photos. I love the look of old churches. It makes me glad to hear them when they ring their bells. Blessings, Joann.

Hi Joann, I found your comment on the bottom of the page (a good thing that I always check) and I shall answer your questions here (in English).

I have written since childhood but was never encouraged. It was only after meeting my English husband who is a poet, that my writing improved. I had several poetry pamphlets published and in the late nineties discovered script writing and I have not stopped since.

Alas, here in England it seems that producers are VERY reluctant with untried writers and, after investing in a new computer with garage band, I got some friends together and recorded a radio serial, entitled Middle Ditch (you can find the link on my blog) and put it on the internet, which proved successful.

After that, and still unsuccessful with my T.V. scripts, I decided to put one eighteen episode television script entitled Grindhirst on another blog.
And the rest is history as they say.

LOL and hug

You dropped by my place and said you couldn't find my Friday Skywatch -- well, it is right below the Daffodils where you left the comment. It is another day and I do try to post daily. I can't understand why you didn't see it at the bottom of the daffodils comment area.

It's called Maui Skies...and that's where I post the Friday Sky Watch photos.

I thank for your visit and appreciate your good reasons!
Splendid the photograph from your sky, amazing strong blue above her roof church, But also the hot colours sun that reflect from the building marvellously, they make the sunset most romantic!

Hi

The moon shot is lovely, and the nest too. The church has done its job of making us look up.

Hi JoAnn, Sorry for the late comment, but we (my husband DC and I) have been busy rewriting episodes of Middle Ditch and then printing out several copies for recording soon. That takes time and effort. We have a lot of fun when we record.

I had a lovely tour at your blog and I'm honoured to be linked. Thank you and stay in touch. I'm posting the first segment of episode three soon and hopefully post episode twelve of Middle Ditch either late next week or the week after.

The music is veeeery relaxing. lol
