We are staying in 4 different fantastic CHATEAUS/CASTELS
Now we stay at CHATEAU DU DOUX,
.....with high ceilings, roomy specious fantastic beauty rooms,
....Living like a king and queen....
Or
Like a God in FRANCE....
°
A day impression:
With breakfast we can eat the (Castel specility)
....Pate-Du-Doux on toast with Champagne...,
°
......Noh ! I am just kidding, I mean the Pate from the goose(duck), thats a speciality here from the area. You must not think of it but the goose here are alive-living for their livers.... So they are big and round and heavy in weight..... Slowly we are getting used to the food in France.
We eat In the morning: a Pain(Bread) with jelly and tea or coffee....
°
After the BREAKFAST:
.....we are always driving around by car 1 or 2 hours to the lovely nearby villages near Altillac (where the Chateau is) , we went yesterday to Beaulieu a great city on the bottom of the hill. You can make a walk on the sides of the river the DORDOGNE, or make a cano-trip or whatever you prefer; all little villages are so small with only two/tree houses ...... but always a church and a Marie (townhouse) , even in the smallest villages . Evereywhere here are BROWN COWS grazing, and the fields are yellow (after haying) or green high grass. We also sa some beautiful SUNFLOWER fields, like a Van GOGH painting, so beautifull, winefields are as normal as the sky and you see them everywhere. Its so good to be in FRANCE!!!!!
°
In the afternoon , for LUNCH we drink a Port or red wine with salade and Pain (bread)
Than a swim in thpool of the Chateau and reading some books or magazines....
°
DINNER is served here after 19;00 pm and not a minute earlier... so we DUTCH people had to get used by that because in HOLLAND we et our Dinner at 18;00 PM, but we ea the local food and we eat around the local time, that best to get used to the living standard of a countrie...
Dinner is served with ( your persoal choice) red or white wine, and water
Most served for headmeal is: Meat/Fish/Duck with salade and Pain,
After Dinner you drink a small espresso (1 sip!) or a coffee a-longue ( two sips!)
°
Than we enjoy the lovely sunset and tomorrow is another fantastic day!
°
To be continued...
Please Keep watching,
I post very regularly new post here,
