Three crew members, including both pilots, were killed, as were at least six others among the 134 passengers and crew members. This is the 10th fatal event for Turkish Airways since 1970. Why do I not say "Cheese? "
JoAnn's "complex 'Crown'story"
Sometimes you have 'to do' stuffs, not that you like it, but it MUST be done...

Last week a teeth on my rigth-above row broke spontaniously....
*
oooow and after that, a lot of visits are planned";

MY 1th visit at the dentist, he made a photo of my teeth, drilled an filled my root canal (so that the nervecanal is death) the dentist added a filling inside, on top of that he added a kind of white temporary stuffing. Yep! all under local anaesthesia (I was glad they did!) 2 th. visit was to look at my HOLE again. That temporarly teethfilling, felt out this week again, just by eating a grape - thats nuts!- but the dentist said "that that was n't a problem" at all, the nerves were death and I couldn't feel any pain , not now and not in the nearby future ....eeeeh Don't make me laugh because my mouth was weak after the 1th visit for 3 hours,

hahah oooh no!oooow DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH! I have a HOLE in my mouth, So really ...PLEASE don't make me laugh! :( On the 3th dentist visit ,than the dentist will make ( within 60 minutes) a print -bite- of my upper row of teeth. ! In between the 2th and 3th visit my teeth"bite" goes to an dental mechanic , to make my CROWN FINNALY The 4th visit is planned on february 27th , than a crown will be placed on top.

Thank you SO much! Completed teeth .... AFTER 6 weeks walking with a hole...

Above: Process of repairing , watch from from left to the right how teeth are reapaired ...
......Say Not, or Do say...

Better Don't make me smile NOW, Don't make me say: " CHEESE!"
FINALLY !
I HOPE I can smile again..." and without a HOLE I say: Cheese"

Part 2
Its COOL in Holland because its WINTER- Windmills & Skating on Ice

Above: What is more Dutch than a windmill on the sides of a "frozen"canal?
No, its NOT over yet! This morning it had been frozen so hard again ,that thisperson tried to skate a lonely tour on his own , not everywhere in Holland it has frozen this good, so better watch it because you go skating or walking on the ice....

Finally Its Always a happy ending :
Because even with a closed mouth (with missing teeth) you can skate on ICE,
SMILE you are on the camera's eyes.
*
And?
What about you blogreader?

How are you doing with YOUR teeth?

Happy ABC +World - week-wishes,

'UP high in the Sky'
STEFANO - ' Stef ' -
'In Thoughts'

.....We received this week the sad news that Stefano - STEF- died in a traffic-accident (in Holland). He is a seventeen year old (youngh) boy...We heard this sad news by my Dutch/Can. Aunt T. Stef is the 17 year old teeneager son of my Cousin Els. He was instantly killed by a pickup truck right after school while crossing the street. The truck was going full speed. His mom Els , was waiting at home with the tea as is their custom.
Instead she got a call from the police. They were taken by a police car to the Hospital, they were in shock, we (family) all still are!" Els could not comprehend that her son Stef was gone. She was making coffee for him, and realized that she did not have to pour a cup for him (he just loved her coffee!). The police gave her a bag of his clothes all cut up in pieces by the paramedics, she had not been able to look at them. Neither had she been in his room yet.

The younger sister of Stef, the nine year old Kimberly, cried out very expressively (the only one who showed emotion!): "But Mommy now I only have two brothers left and it will take a hundred years before I see him again, that takes too long!" When she went to bed she took a picture of Stef with her, on which she wrote, "I love you and I miss you!"
My cousin Els is starting with arrangements for the funeral. Nobody is an expert in those things, especially when it happens so suddenly.

Yesterday you were still feeling the wind,
In between , travelling to....
Heaven and earth....

Today you are resting,
You are..
Somewhere there,
'UP, high in the sky'
Hopefully in peace ..
Your light is shining forever,
You will stay in our hearts,
We love you,
Goodbye Stef.
*
I just wrote in my last (wednesday) post "Just enjoy every day in your life as it is your last minute" , not knowing that Stef died so suddenly. "Thats how life is"... you might think or say.... No, this is too sad, he couldn't say "goodbye", nor could we his family...
When you are much older or sick, you might expect to die on the 'one or another day', you can prepare for what is coming. Saying 'goodbye' , before you go " UP High in the sky".
*
"We are in Thoughts "
...Thinking of Stef's parents , his sister and his 2 brothers . Take care...
In Thoughts with people who overcame the same,
...With youngher or/and older beloved ones....
They stay in our hearts forever,
We will NEVER forget them!
Enjoy life every day, as it is your last ,
Take care YOU all out there.
*
I hope that I will not hurt anyone by writing this post, if so I am very sorry.
Thank you for your comments

When here, you want to be there and vice versa......

WELCOME IN HOLLAND...
DOUBTS... when here, you want to be there and vice versa............
Do you know that feeling?

A thought for my friend M. who just arrived in HOLLAND.

Above: The Typical autumn-weather in holland: Grey Storm sky , Rainy, birds in trees...
*
*
DOUBTS when here, you want to be there and vice versa......
This morning I spoke to my (female) friend M. , she is -like me-also born in Holland. We know each other since we are teenagers, a long time so you can imagine we feel like (sisters) as family. We have in common that we Both like to travel and we're always dreaming of living some-where else than in Holland... Not that we don't like Holland, because we LOVE Holland..!
When the Weather in Holland should change in warmer (more sun!!) weather it wou be THE perfect country to live in. But Holland can be rainy-windy... what can we do about that? Nothing... just dreaming, because once you change and start living in another (warmer) county.... "its still Not like HOME sweet HOME" wich is (my) beloved Holland" .
We just like to be here when we are there, or when we are there we like to be here... I lived for 6 years in Italy, and also in the USA, and I always thought about my birth -country wich is Holland. I was even missing the cold Dutch weather , the 4 seasons, my friends , the Chocolade hagelsag, Pindakaas and DROP , the Old Amsterdam cheese..., The windmills...the Wooden shoes, the Tulips...and....yes ....I even missed the rain and the wind, the spring/autumn weather, this is ALL so typical for Holland!
She (my friend M.) lived for 10 years in FRANCE.. she bought 10 years ago a house there, was happy there but always thinking about Holland and her rends . Last spring she t bought (also ) a house in Holland/DRUNEN and today is her first arrival- day in Holland.
The Below Blue Wisteria flowers are for you...

() FRANCE: An impression of a day in FRance

We are staying in 4 different fantastic CHATEAUS/CASTELS
Now we stay at CHATEAU DU DOUX,
.....with high ceilings, roomy specious fantastic beauty rooms,
....Living like a king and queen....
Or
Like a God in FRANCE....
°
A day impression:
With breakfast we can eat the (Castel specility)
....Pate-Du-Doux on toast with Champagne...,
°
......Noh ! I am just kidding, I mean the Pate from the goose(duck), thats a speciality here from the area. You must not think of it but the goose here are alive-living for their livers.... So they are big and round and heavy in weight..... Slowly we are getting used to the food in France.
We eat In the morning: a Pain(Bread) with jelly and tea or coffee....
°
After the BREAKFAST:
.....we are always driving around by car 1 or 2 hours to the lovely nearby villages near Altillac (where the Chateau is) , we went yesterday to Beaulieu a great city on the bottom of the hill. You can make a walk on the sides of the river the DORDOGNE, or make a cano-trip or whatever you prefer; all little villages are so small with only two/tree houses ...... but always a church and a Marie (townhouse) , even in the smallest villages . Evereywhere here are BROWN COWS grazing, and the fields are yellow (after haying) or green high grass. We also sa some beautiful SUNFLOWER fields, like a Van GOGH painting, so beautifull, winefields are as normal as the sky and you see them everywhere. Its so good to be in FRANCE!!!!!
°
In the afternoon , for LUNCH we drink a Port or red wine with salade and Pain (bread)
Than a swim in thpool of the Chateau and reading some books or magazines....
°
DINNER is served here after 19;00 pm and not a minute earlier... so we DUTCH people had to get used by that because in HOLLAND we et our Dinner at 18;00 PM, but we ea the local food and we eat around the local time, that best to get used to the living standard of a countrie...
Dinner is served with ( your persoal choice) red or white wine, and water
Most served for headmeal is: Meat/Fish/Duck with salade and Pain,
After Dinner you drink a small espresso (1 sip!) or a coffee a-longue ( two sips!)
°
Than we enjoy the lovely sunset and tomorrow is another fantastic day!
°
To be continued...
Please Keep watching,
I post very regularly new post here,
°

()France; Keep Watching please

HELLO Last news,
From JoAnn, now in FRANCE,
Just letting you know that I check my blog once in a while,
we arrived in CHATEAU-DU-DOUX, the second Castel on the list.
°
From the first Castel Des REYNATS it was a good/long 3 hour drive by car, too long I tell you why:
WHY Hahaha this made us laugh (aftewards) also:
At home we/ bought a TomTom , this is a Navigator with road maps , to use in the car to find the roads or destination easier, where you have to go to, and faster hmmmm,
not fast at all with this GARMIN-navigator ....
°
This navigatior named GARMIN, is taking all the smallest roads (almost footpaths haha) so we should have to travel 2 hours from the first castel to the second castel, but NOT WITH this navigator, now it took us 3 hours yes yes, but I must say tha we saw all little cute villages with 2 citizens an only 2 houses, but it was a great trip,
Never use a navigator in FRANCE, just take theHighway- Tollroads (paid roads)but it was worth the time and trip THIS CASTEL IS AWSOME, really a beautiful place .
°
This castel is standing on a hill and yuo can oversee the wide fields with brown cows and lots of horses, Today we visited °Beaulieu° , a fantastic small historical city, located on/aside the DORDOGNE river, this you HAVE to see, so fantastic it is here, all little small artistic °all kinds of things°- stores and cute small bars, very nice small (petit) restaurants with fantastic FRENCH food and all kinds of local things, wines and gooseliver, and much more, we are really having a great time here , even the dog likes this surrounding
°
PLEASE keep watching my blog
I keep you informed very regularly (with photo s,or text)
Thank you for your comments
