Greetings JoAnn (blogauthor)
Very striking shot! The blue of the flag almost blends to a gradient with the blue in the sky.
Great shot & Happy Queen's Day!
Sounds wonderful! I wish we celebrated more and moaned less in UK . . . ;-)
Good wishes for IOS too - such a sweet dog :-)
Well, hail to the Dutch queen and may she reign for many a year. She has a lovely looking family. You Dutch must be very proud of her.
That's very intereting.

How lovely to have a day when everyone can celebrate belonging to their nation! I do so wish we had such a day . . .
Hope you had a great celebration on this special day
Hi Joann,
First, I've got to apologize for not having visited your blog for a while now -- I re-did my blog template and you got lost in the shuffle. Everything is back to normal with your link now. Whew...
Hope IOS is doing well -- she is such a beautiful dog.
And with all due respects, I had to laugh when I saw the photo of the Dutch Royal Family. I am a fan of a British comedy named "Keeping Up Appearances" and in one episode a snobbish Hyacinth brags to her poor husband Richard that the tasteless granola cereal he is now being served has the the seal of the Dutch Royal Family. (((actually they look like a fine bunch -- please give them my regards)))
