Domkerk in : Utrecht- Holland
Utrecht Why?
Because I lived in this beautiful city for 12 years with a lot of pleasure, yesterday I visited Utrecht again and I saw this great looking Domkerk , from my house in Utrecht -about many years ago- I always saw the top of this church

St Martin's Cathedral, Utrecht,
The Church as seen from the Tower , infront the temporarly rebuilt section (2004)
Domtoren or "DOM CHURCH "(in Dutch called: Domkerk) was the cathedral of the diocese of Utrecht during the middle ages.. Once the countriy's largest church and only cathedral, dedicated to Saint Martins of Tours, it has been a Protestant Church since 1580. The building is the ons church in The Netherlands that closely resembles the classic Gothic sttyle as developed in France, All other Gothis churches in the Netherlands belong to one of the many regional variants. Unlike most of its French predecessors, the Dom church has only one tower, the 112m (368 feet) high Dom Tower wich is the Hallmark of the city.

Blue sky Reflection
What a beautiful church and a very dramatic looking sky. Great Capture! BTW, I love the doggie on the header, such a cutie.
A majestic building indeed.
You have enhanced its beauty by your own touch. Great work.
Hi JoAnn! I usually don't like B & W; but yours are gorgeous!! Fabulous shots!!
PS: I’m going to be offline working in a «remote» location next week, but left you in a new destination in Blogtrotter Two... Enjoy and have a great week!
Hi JoAnn, Your B & W shots are fabulous. They look like charcoal drawings. I like the way the trees seem to frame the church - almost like they're holding it in their arms.
That is a magnificent building.
Stunning photos! I like your post processing. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.
It is indeed a beautiful structure.
Very nice picture, reminds me of a book I read a few months ago "The pillars of the earth", an amazing story, as they were build by hand and it took years and years to build.
Yes I remember the Dom Kerk very well, but never was inside.
Love you
Truus
