Typical for France is...

When we drove around by car in France, this dried grass we saw many many times on the side of all roads , in all different shapes, its so typical for France . Why? Because there are many farms, and France is very wide with lots of land/ fields , and there many cows , they need this dried grass to eat in the winter..... Its so nice to see...Dutch: Aaan de kant van de wegen, zie je deze "gedroogde gras/hooi-balen" wel ontzettend veel, in allerlei varianten en vormen, Het is zo typisch Frans. Frankrijk is erg groot en heeft veel land en weilanden, ook erg veel koeien en deze moeten natuurlijk in de winter ook eten, Vandaar deze stro-balen. Mooi om te zien.

Our Beach in France

This 'sandy photograph' is made in France, on or favorite beach where we were last summer . Its called: Giron Plage, a fantastic place to be ,I wish we could be there ... soon we will, I have to be a little more patient!!

Deze 'zanderige -foto' is gemaakt op ons favorite strand in Frankrijk afgelopen zomer: Genaamd; Giron Plage, een fantastich plaatsje .....ik zou er nu wel willen zijn , maar we moeten nog heel even geduld hebben!!

Juni 26-2007: This is the weather from today and last week, only 13 degrees here, Pfffffff, RAIN and storm expected... But, No not all is bad about this kind of weather. The good thing about this dark weather is, that it looks so good on photography.... so I will make as much photo's as possible....

26 Juni 2007: Zo ziet het er vandaag en de laatste week uit: donkere onheilspellende luchten, zware regens en storm, nog maar 13 graden....pffff. Maar het slechte weer heeft ook een positieve kant, ik kan namelijk mooie foto's maken, en dat doe ik dan ook....

This (above) was in March our Magnolia tree, in front of our house . Now is giving its blossom for the second time this year. De Magnolia boom , voor ons huis staat alweer in knop voor de tweede keer dit jaar, en hij zal wel snel weer bloemen geven.

WATER: Alex ten Napel...

For Fathers day which is June 17Th ,
the photographer " Alex Ten Napel" publicised this "WATER" photo , of a dad with his two daughter's in the NRC-NEXT newspaper of today..... .

What I like about this photo is :
-That the Father/children's look are serious ,

(instead of the usual smile!),
-That all hairs are sticking on their body's,
-The body's shadow in the water,
-The drops on their skins....
-The white (sky) background...

Under, This photo was showed in 2005 on the Festival of photography in Naarden.
I liked that he used the water in Naarden very well, because he combined this XXX large Hugh billboard, which was hanging into the water, on the 'vesting' walls of Naarden.

I always like to watch at the style of several kinds of photographers . "Alex Ten Napel", is for me one of THE great Photographers , I like his style and I admire his work very much....

10, Festival Photography..what next?

The Festival of Photography is finished,

Sunday /yesterday June 10Th, the last visitors of the list, came to visit the Festival of Photography in Naarden: The twin Brother and Sister of Bert, came to see us and of course to look at most of the Photo's ..... the outdoors Festival Photo exhibition.

Uhhhh yes, but my exhibition was CLOSED on this SUNday, while it should be opened on Sunday! YAK! And the reason was SO crazy.... There was not enough staff in the restaurant, so they decided to closed their doors for this Sunday...Yak hmmmm why not?

Not that my exhibition is the most important of all, but my family came all this way from Amsterdam to visit...... well typical (Horeca) restaurant-bar behavior, "we just close the doors". An office would not do that so easily, at least the people working in the office's would not mind that unless they got payed or that day!... Ha ha!

uhhhh I would not say it to them , but ehh it's a moved & not sharp photo, anyway I look not 'very normal, also a bit 'moved' .

We were all glad the weather was warm enough to sit in the backyard... so we enjoyed the drinks/snacks behind our house instead of going to a restaurant/bar for a drink.

So whats next???
Today the restaurant is closed too,
so I'll have a break Thank-you!

Tomorrow I have to take down all the photo's rom the wall. and load them into my car. Than take them home with me, all together this will take me about 3 hours of work, but than it will be all done.....Up to another exhibition? Whats next?

COWS !Today in front of our house , the cows are back again. We have now white and brown's, of course I MUST make some close-ups of their faces. They are both, cute and mean at the same time, better watch out for them!
